Today we will talk to you about a rather interesting program built into the Windows operating system since version 7, called Problem Steps Recorder . With its help, the user has the opportunity to record his actions and create detailed instructions with sequential steps.

Let's go!

1. To launch Problem Steps Recorder you need to do the following: press the key combination “Win + R” and enter the command “psr”.
2. Next, click on the “Start Recording” button and follow the steps to reproduce the problem you want to demonstrate. It is possible to stop and continue recording at any time you need.
3. When writing down instructions, select “Add a comment”, then use the mouse to select the part of the screen that you want to comment on, enter the text of the comment, and then click on “OK”.
4. After the recording is ready, click on the “Stop recording” button.
5. We look at the resulting record of the steps that were completed and make sure that it reflects what you wanted to show.
6. Click on the “Save” button, give the ZIP file a name and select where to save it.

After this, a document will be automatically created for you with screenshots of each action performed, the system itself will highlight all the clicks, important interface elements and arrange everything in a separate document.
