Once you start your programming career, you'll quickly realize that interviews suck. They can be terrible for all parties involved. These are simply time killers, a stress-generating factor and the first obstacle to a successful career. But you will have to deal with them, so it is better to know what to prepare for.
Questions and tasks can be very different and they all need to be polished to a shine if you want to show your best side.

Learn to clearly express your thoughts, describe your knowledge and capabilities. Learn to make good and coherent resumes.

Post examples of your code on GitHub or any other open repository. This is your chance to show off some of your skills before the interview.

Interview your interviewer. You shouldn't be the only one being asked at an interview. You may be interested in various nuances of your future work. Listen carefully to the answers. They can be very important, containing information about what the new company and job is all about.
