Hello, now I will tell you how to get a virtual number for free. There are many different countries, but not all numbers can receive SMS, and no number accepts SMS from short or text senders. US and UK numbers definitely accept SMS, while others need to be checked.

Go to the website https://www.textnow.com/signup and fill in the information.

Choose the region code for your future number.

You will receive a verification link in your email. Click on it.
Your phone number can be found at https://www.textnow.com/account right under your email.

Go to https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio and fill in the information. Since I have already used this email address there, I will use a Google Mail trick and add an extra hyphen.

Now you will be asked to verify your account with a mobile phone. Use the number you received from TextNow (Note: If you don't want to go through the first 4 steps, in Twilio, you can use a SIM card for verification, but I use virtual numbers).

Check your incoming SMS in TextNow at http://www.textnow.com/messaging/.

By default, Twilio offered me a USA number, but this can be changed. Click "Choose your own number."

Choose any number from the available countries.

Find SMS at https://www.twilio.c...nt/log/messages. Or simply go through the buttons "Numbers" >>> "Your number in red" >>> At the bottom in the "Messaging" tab, click the red "Inbound" link (assuming your number has the ability to receive SMS). Often, you need to click the links again to see the received SMS.
Now, if you are unhappy with the number or just want to change it, go through the buttons again: "Numbers" >>> "Your number in red" >>> At the bottom right, click the black "Release Number" button. (I won't include a screenshot as the pirates will just close it).
Now, in the tab https://www.twilio.c....mbers/incoming, you will have the opportunity to choose a new number. (You don't have any Twilio numbers, but your first number is on us. Get it now.)
