Using the online service “Unzip-Online”

(we do not recommend the service, use only if the following 2 methods do not suit you)

Open your browser, go to Unzip-Online.com and click the “Uncompress files” button
Click “Browse...” and upload the password-protected archive file from which you want to remove restrictions
After downloading the archive, click “Uncompress file”, after which after a while, depending on the speed of your Internet connection, a link to download the unlocked archive will appear.
Method 2
Installing the Passper for ZIP application

(Recommended)

To take advantage of all the features of Passper for Zip, we recommend following our step-by-step instructions below:

Download and install “Passper for Zip” from the official website of the developers, following the recommendations of the installation wizard
Add an encrypted ZIP file from your computer by clicking the “+” icon in the main application menu
Now you should choose one of four decryption algorithms, including:
“Combination Attack”, which allows you to guess a passphrase by rearranging various combinations of certain letters and symbols that must definitely be present in the password
“Mask Attack” is used if the user remembers fragments or special characters from a keyword, which makes it possible to very quickly unblock the archive
"Dictionary Attack" picks up keys based on user or shared dictionaries
"Brute Force Attack" will try all possible combinations of letters and symbols, but this method can take a very long time, depending on the complexity of the key phrase
At this stage, all you have to do is click “Next” to begin the decryption process, after which the working password will be displayed, which must be copied and pasted when opening the locked archive.

Method 3
Using the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS) utility

First download "NSIS" from the developer's site, and then install this software on your computer
After launch, in the start menu, select “Installer based on ZIP file”
Following this, in the “Zip2Exe 0.37” interface that opens, click “Open” and select your protected file
Next, you will need to set the target folder to save the decoded object, and to do this, you need to click “Browse” in the “Output EXE File” section and specify the path to the selected directory
Now all that remains is to wait until the program generates a password and saves the unlocked archive to the selected path
Conclusion

In conclusion, it is worth noting that there are many ways to unlock password-protected archives, but using the online service “Unzip-Online” is not very preferable from an information security point of view, and besides, there is a 200MB limit on the size of the downloaded archive. Meanwhile, installing the NSIS platform takes place in several stages, which is associated with wasting extra time, so for the purposes under consideration I recommend installing the Passper for ZIP program.
